So I’ve mostly just gone back to basics with game design, I’m focusing on smaller projects for the time being, not that I don’t think I’m ready to make a game for steam, I just want to try out making a bunch of different things to see what I like making the most. I love almost all types of games and realistically I could see myself making anything, I don’t really have a niche, unless that niche is weird, obtuse and somewhat cryptic in nature.
I have been creating some cool stuff over the last two months. Over on itch.io or pixelpun.com you and see my board game Encounters over Basel here https://pixelpun.itch.io/encounters-over-basel and my cute cozy game called Dear Princess here https://pixelpun.itch.io/dear-princess very proud of both and the board game actually made some money, which is neat.
I’m going to be working on Dear Princess over the next 20 days or so to add more things to it to bring it up to where I would like it and then the Kenney Game Jam starts, which I am excited about 🙂
Overall just looking to learn as much as I can this year, I’m not in a rush to make a game to sell, it will happen or not as long as I am making games and having fun, that is generally all that matters.
