It’s been an incredibly hectic month for me, marking the busiest period of my career to date. I had anticipated a slowdown after leaving a popular freelance platform, but instead, my workload has more than doubled. As a result, I’m taking a moment to reassess my priorities and refocus my efforts. While I’m committed to bringing NEXIFY to life, I recognize the need for a bit more concentration to make it a reality. To achieve this, I’ve decided to shift my attention to completing a couple of my older games, which have been in development limbo for some time. The first project I’ll be tackling is a game I’ve been working on for approximately five years. Despite its simplicity, I’m eager to finalize it and share it on Itch.io. This game originally won an award at Ludum Dare in 2014, and I’m looking to revamp it with a clean design that I can be proud of. I plan to update the game and provide regular progress updates – three times a week – until its completion.
The game is called RGB and I’m going to focus on this game and one other one first and hopefully get back into my groove with game dev and work life, I feel like I need more time before I put out a steam game, I don’t want to just throw something up there, I want it to be good and worth it.
